We offer a private living space for a tranquil vacation or work space. Just a 5 min. stroll along the beach to Popoyo main break and close to many other world class surf spots.

Dutchy’s Casita is a spacious, modern, fresh and luminous apartment with an ocean view.
On the first floor you will find an open living/ kitchen area and the bathroom/shower.
The kitchen is equipped for you to feel like home: refrigerator, gas cooker, pots, pans and all the other utensils you might need.
There is a large breakfast/dining bar, which double us a great desk/office space. You will also find a very comfy large sofa/day bed to hang out and chill out with a book.

Popoyo - Nicaragua
Popoyo is one of the best surf spot in Nicaragua. Popoyo basically works at all tides, most days of the year.

You can come with your surfboard or rent one on Playa Guasacate. There is a surf shop 2 min walk from our house. We can help you with renting a board.

Ocean view beach house
walk just 35 meters
Outside of the apartment there is a porch overlooking the central garden, with a private table and hammock. The backyard is private and has ocean view. The beach it’s only 35 meters from the studio. This private garden has an outdoor shower for when you get back from your surf.
Going the upstairs takes you to the loft. This is the main bedroom with a king size bed and ample space for storing your cloths. Besides having a good connection with the first floor, the loft also has a balcony with ocean view. And yes, you can see the ocean from your bed!

Share your private casita
with a coffee shop
The Casita is situated on a property which you share with a coffee shop (Dutchy’s Deli) and an art/ design studio, both located in the front part of the property on the main street while the apartment is situated in the opposite end separated by a wonderful central garden.
This garden is shared with Ducthy’s Deli during opening hours (07:30-16:00 Wed-Sun), but after Dutchy’s Deli closes you only share the space with the owners.
